Moving to Greener Patches...

Day 8

One week of solitude and I have already broken some rules of the game. Time to reassess and take action.

"Deliberately seeking solitude - quality time spent away from family and friends may seem selfish. It is not."

I always start my baking by enlisting willing and hungry people to finish the food later. Yesterday was no different. But after 3 consecutive days of scones, I think they are starting to be sick of it. Reminds me of the time I dreamt of having my very own vegetable garden in the backyard. The only thing that survived were the cucumbers. We had cucumbers in every possible style for weeks.

So, I will be moving on to greener "vegetable patches". Watch this space!

Today, I am grateful for leftover gouda cheese, put into good use.
